Reba Ophelia Wood, daughter of Edwin E. and Amanda Jane Wood was born in Fayette Co. Ill., March 4, 1897, departed this life at St. Anthony Hospital at Effingham, Sept. 5, 1928. Age 31 years, 6 months and 1 day.
She leaves to mourn their loss two children, Phyllis Edna and Jesse Leo, a father, three sisters, Mrs. Myrtis Peterson of Sadorus, Mrs. Fleta White and Miss Dorothy at home, an aged grandmother, Mrs. Melvina Wood besides many other relatives and friends.
Short funeral services were conducted at the family home southwest of this city at 1:30 o'clock, Friday afternoon by Rev. Blankenship. Interment was in the Beecher City Cemetery.
Undertaker Cook was in charge.
