Vet - War of 1812.

UPDATE:

Just want to let you know that John Deckard is not buried in this cemetery. There are only the four I have listed. I checked with my cousin Dennis to be sure. He started helping Grandpa Deckard take care of these graves 60+ years ago and he said that there has always only been four graves.

Debbie Reynolds

Note from Tony Jeffries: I trust Debbie Reynolds which is information based on her family taking care of that cemetery for years.

HOWEVER???
The information I have posted is based on WPA records and information provided by the Monroe County Historical Society. The WPA records are based on interviews with family members in 1937-1939.

Also, there may be a typo ? Was John written instead of Johannes.

But the date was different also? 1775 vs 1794 ?

And John is recorded as a Vet War of 1812 ?

What is the possibility that Johannes had a brother named John?

Is this Johannes' son John born in 1794 ?
(Where is this John Deckard buried?) Vet's Records says at this cemmetery...

In the interests of "What if's?" I will leave this post and hope that someone may be able to shed a little light on "John" unless family member request the removal. You never know...

Please contact me or Debbie Reynolds if you have any information or corrections/changes, maybe a different cemetery. On John Deckard.
