Mary Alice Pearson Moore, 47, of Lafayette, died at 11:30 a.m. April 4, 1991, at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. She had been ill two years. She was born April 16, 1943, in Flora, and moved to Lafayette six years ago. Her marriage was on March 12, 1965, at Pyrmont, to Carl Smith Moore Jr., who died June 7,1980. She graduated from East Tipp High School in 1961. She was a former food service employee at Purdue University’s Cary Quad residence hall. She was a member of the Buck Creek United Methodist Church. Surviving are one son, Dallas David Moore, and two daughters, Dawn Michele Veach and Cynthia Marie Moore, all of Lafayette; her parents, Richard and Betty Gripe Pearson of Buck Creek; a brother, Dennis L. Pearson of Logansport; and five grandchildren. Services were Saturday in Lafayette, with burial in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Flora.
