Funeral services for Alfred David Hartman, 55, who was killed In an auto accident Saturday evening near Hanging Rock, north of Salem. Virginia, will be held this (Wednesday) afternoon at three o'clock from the Weaver’s Mennonite Church.

Services will be conducted by the Rev John Mumaw and burial will be in the family lot of the Weavers Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: John W. Shank, Lewis Hartman. Otto Good, Charles Barnhart, M. D. Burkholder and Robert Swartz.

A son of the late John and Mary Burkholder Hartman, he was born on April 27, 1898, near Harrisonburg, where he spent the early part of his life, moving to Roanoke thirty years ago where he had been employed as paper hanger and a painter.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Brunk Hartman; five sisters, Mrs. Charles Good of Columbia, Ohio, Mrs. William Shore, Mrs. Lewis Shank and Mrs. Harry Landis, all of- Sterling, Ill., and Mrs. Aldine Brenneman, of Harrisonburg. He also leaves one brother. Henry Hartman of Elida, Ohio.

The body will remain at the McMullen Funeral Home until this afternoon at two o'clock when it will he placed in the church to lie in state-until the hour of the services.

Friends and relatives are asked to meet at the church this Wednesday afternoon at three o’clock. Pallbearers are asked to meet at the church at 2:45.
