Abraham D. Coryell was the second son of Michael and Francis "Fanny" (Drake)Coryell. He married Mary S. Brougher on Feb. 15,1853 in Jennings Co.,IN. They were the parents of four sons and one daughter.

Abraham was a solder in the Union Army during the Civil War. He was killed near Atlanta,Ga.

Resident of Tipton.
