LONG GROVE, Iowa -- Funeral services for Georgia J. Warren, Long Grove, Iowa, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 17, at Freedom Assembly of God Church, Davenport. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Long Grove. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Mrs. Warren died Sunday, June 13, 2004, at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport, after a brief illness. Georgia JoAnn Springsteen was born Sept. 16, 1936, in Davenport, the daughter of Cecil and Lydia (Phelps) Springsteen. She was united in marriage to Robert L. Warren on Feb. 11, 1956, in Maquoketa, Iowa. He preceded her in death June 2, 1994. Georgia was an active member of her church and most enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and John Brassard, DeWitt, Iowa; sons and daughter-in-law, Robert Jr. and Noreen Warren and Ronald Warren, all of Long Grove; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother and four sisters, Fern, Harriet, Marriet, Myra and Richard.
