Nancy was the daughter of Kennedy Canada and Mary McFarland McCullough of Pennsylvania and the granddaughter of John and Sarah White McCullough. Her first marriage was to John Jewell on 16 June 1831 and they had Aaron, Samuel, Sarah Jane (Franklin), Reason A., Margaret (LeGalley), William Lecon, George Washington, Henry M., John, and Celia Amanda (LeGalley). After John's death in 1863, she married James Hall on 12 October 1867 in Wood County. Nancy died at the age of 60 years 6 months 23 days.
