Obituary:
Paul Edward Bleier

Paul Edward Bleier 47, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on Friday April 3, 2009. Paul was a wonderful son, brother, nephew, uncle and most especially a great friend to so many. Though we are saddened with the loss of Paul at such a young age, we are very grateful for the time he spent with us here on earth. Paul's joy, laughter, and his undying devotion to God, family, and to his friends will be deeply missed! He is preceded in death by his father Edward, mother Ella Mae, brother Mike, sister Betty, and uncle, Wilbur McNown. He is survived by his sister, Patty Aker Tom; brother, Bill Bleier, nephews Rod Medrano, Eric Bleier; niece Sheila Bleier; great niece and nephew Shelby and Jake Medrano; aunt, Elaine McNown and uncle Frank J. Bleier; cousins Carolyn Johnson, Kevin McNown Min, Judy Jo Ray, David Blousetin, and Bernice Long. Paul was a Catholic and an alumnus of St. Thomas the Apostle Grammar School as well as a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish. Paul was a graduate of Gerard Catholic High School class of 1979. Paul was the appliance telecom receiving supervisor for Fry's Electronics for the past 11 years and was a great friend and co-worker. Paul had the most awesome sense of humor, an incredible and sincere compassion for others, and the biggest smile on earth. Paul was always the enthusiastic and loyal ASU, Phoenix Suns, AZ Cardinals, and Diamondbacks' fan and an avid golfer; and his wholehearted joy for sports with the exception of Nascar! will be a treasured memory. A Celebration of Life for Paul will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 from 5 – 7 p.m. with a Scripture Service beginning at 6 p.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix AZ. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Ave, Phoenix AZ, with graveside services immediately following at St. Francis Cemetery, 48th St. and Oak, Phoenix AZ.
