Mayme L. Abel, 88, of Bidwell, Ohio, died in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio, Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999. A retired final inspector for the Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. in Akron, Ohio. She was the founder and had served as Director of th Greater Akron Epilepsy League. She attended Akron Baptist Temple. Chapel services were held at 2 pm On Monday, 3 January, 2000 in the Northlawn Memorial Gardens, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Visitation was held at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, 420 First Avenue, Gallipolis, Ohio from 3-5 pm on Sunday, January 2, 2000.
