Saturday Evening, September 10, 1864, page 2 column 5:
Died on Thursday Sept. 8th, Richard Andrews, father of Mrs. William Woltge and Mrs. H.P. Dudley of this city.
Funeral at the house of H.P. Dudley, No. 100 East Eagle street on Sunday, Sept. 11th at 4 P.M.
In his life, a faithful servant of his God; in his death, he requires no eulogy from mortals. It is enough for us to know that he received the kingdom of God as a child, and to have the hope that in the general resurrection, at the last day, he will enter into that kingdom with all Christ's blessed ones.
