Father Jefferson Walls

There is something confusing here some has him as son of
Martha Jane Buster-Walls-Vaughn (as is most likely the case) but she was never married to a Jefferson Walls as D/C states his father as being, however she was fist married to James A. Walls. I believe the daughter was understandably distraught and misstated the name of his father.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Suggested edit: James A. Walls was deceased by the time Samuel was born. I believe Jefferson Walls and Martha Jane Buster were married briefly. She appears in the 1860 census with Samuel age 8/12. Samuel is listed as the son of William and Sarah Walls in the 1880 census. I believe William is he brother of Jefferson Walls.
