John was the son of of William and Augusta Philliph. and was born at Luzerne Oct 21,1871. His Death occurred at Excelsior Springs,Mo.April 23, 1918, AGE 46 YRS 6 MO.2 DAYS,the main cause of death was Liver problems.

Mr Philliph married in Luzerne on Feb 1894 to Miss Anna Miller and to this union there was a daughter, Gertrude, who with the wife left to mourn him,also a mother , 5 brothers and 3 sisters survive him.
Among those from out of town was his Mothe Mrs William Philliph of Hartley, Mr and Mrs William Philiph. Mr and Mrs Henry Philiph and August Philiph of Hartley, Mrs Martin Salva of Sanborn, Louis Philiph of Ocheyden, Ben Philiph of Everly, Mr and Mrs Harges of Sheldon,Mr and Mrs Fred Everett of Jasper Minn, Herman Miller of Excelsior Springs Mo, Rev.E.Kallsen of Ocheyden, Mrs Lucy Baumann and Mrs J.B Tebben, sisters of the deceased, were unable to come
Burial in the Keystone Cem.
