Julie Fletcher-Hunt, age 68, of Warsaw, passed away on Thursday, February 17th, 2011 at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. She was born on March 27, 1942 in Pasadena, California; the daughter of Ralph and Mary (Conner) Hunt.

Julie had many great loves in her life. She loved the Lord, her family, her sister, her children, her grandchildren, and her many friends. Julie also loved music and to sing, having the honor of being part of the world-famous Roger Wagner Chorale. She loved being a nurse and caring for others. After graduating from Pierce College and White Memorial Nursing School, Julie spent her life helping so many people; especially children. In addition to her hospital work throughout the early 70's, Julie worked tirelessly to rehabilitate sick and disabled children in their homes. She was also an advocate here in Missouri for children with Attention Deficit Disorders, starting the local chapter of CH.A.D.D. Julie simply loved helping others. Even in her last days and despite being very ill, she loved to visit her fellow residents at Rest Haven Convalescent Home in Sedalia just to cheer them up and make them smile. Julie was caring, loving, and giving to the very end. Her loss is deeply felt and the amazing strength of her love endures.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one son Rodrick Koop Barendt Otten, in May of 2010, two brothers, Ralph Hunt, Jr. and Bill Hunt, a sister Josephine Hunt and an aunt, Michelle "Mike" Sweet, in 2010.

She is survived by her sister, Janice Sue Ielouch, and her husband Ayman, of Warsaw, three daughters, Alisa Otten, of Pasadena, California, Rebecca Albarran, and her husband John, of Van Nuys, California and Darla Vidger, and her husband Keith, of Glendale, California, one son, Joshua Johnson, of Warsaw, five grandchildren; Jonathon Brnak, Megan Brnak, Emma Grace Albarran, Mary Rose Albarran and Quinevere Johnson, many other relatives and friends.
