Minnie Mae Cain, 89, of Martinsburg Road, Berkeley Springs, widow of William E. Cain, died Thursday, August 2, 1979 in the Valley View Rest Home after an illness of five years.

She was born in Morgan County March 20, 1890, daughter of John W.. and Mary Susan Lutman Waugh.

Mrs. Cain was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Berkeley Springs.

Her husband died in 1967.

She is survived by one son, William E. Cain, Jr., Falling Waters; four daughters, Mrs. Lucille Marian Clark, Berkeley Springs; Mrs. Leanna Stonebraker, Baltimore, Md; Mrs. Ameion Fletcher, Berkeley Springs, and Mrs. Norma Darrow, Princeton, W. Va; 14 grandchildren; 18 grand-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Florence Unger, Berkeley Springs.

Services were conducted at the Johnson Funeral Home Sunday, August 5, by the Rev. Calvin Harden, with interment in Greenway Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Johnson Funeral Home in Berkeley Springs.
