He was born in Morgan County, May 12, 1883, son of Luther S. and Mary Ellen Weber Cain.
A member of Trinity E.U.B. Church, Mr. Cain was a retired employee of the Pennsylvania Glass Sand Corporation.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie May Waugh Cain; four daughters-Mrs. Lawrence (Lucille) Clark and Mrs. Norman (Ameion) Fletcher, both of Berkeley Springs; Mrs. Carroll (Leanna) Stonebraker, Baltimore, Md; Mrs. Clinton (Norma) Darrow, Mullens; one son, William Cain, Winchester, Va; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Services were conducted Sunday at the Hunter Funeral Home by the Rev. Wilbur Jay and the Rev. C.F. Hickle. Burial was in Greenway Cemetery.
