The death of Mrs. Martha Aboatt occurred Sunday evening at the family residence, 326 South Water Street, as the result of an attack of la grippe. She was born July 16, 1816, and was married twice, the first time to James Crawford in 1884. She was the mother of 12 children. Ten reside in Illinois, one in St. Louis and one in Ohio. She had lived in Macon County for 49 years.
The funeral will be held at the Christian church at 1:30 this afternoon. Rev. T.W. Pinkerton will conduct the services. He will be assisted by Rev. E.B. Cake.
