MRS. LENA A. AUSTIN, 75, Rural Route 1, died at her home last Tuesday following a long illness. She was born on Mar. 20, 1888 in Wayne City, Illinois, the daughter of William T. and Josephine Faulkner. She was married to James W. Austin on Dec. 18, 1904 in Wayne City. For the past eleven years she had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. George Reed, in Lake Geneva.
Surviving are her daughter; two sons, Ernie, of Fairfield, Illinois, and LaVerne, of East Troy; one sister, Mrs. Dorsa Avery, Georgetown, Indiana, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her husband and three sons predeceased her. Services were held at 8 p.m. last Thursday in the Steinke Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. on Friday in the New Church, Orchardville, Illinois, the Rev. Earl D.
