Mary L. Jackson, 77, of Ockley, died Friday Dec. 27, 1984, in Milner Community Health Care Center, Rossville. An Indiana native, she had lived in the Ockley area most of her life. She was married in 1926 to Olaf Jackson, who died in 1967. She was a member of the U.S. Postmasters Association, Ockley Ladies Club, Senior Citizens, and for many years was Ockley correspondent for the Comet. Surviving are two sons, William T. Jackson of Rt. 4, Delphi, and Robert L. Jackson of Renssalaer; two daughters, Beverly Myers of Flora and Bonnie Richardson of West Lafayette; and 11 grandchildren. Services were at 11 a.m. Monday at Brown Funeral Home, Rossville. Burial was in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Flora.
