THOMAS SHELLEY

Dos Palos - Masonic funeral services will be held in Whitehurst Chapel here Wednesday at 10 am for Thomas Henderson Shelley, 77, retired farmer. Mr Shelley died in a Merced Hospital Sunday. He had been ill for a long period of time.

Mr Shelley was born in June, 1898 in the Oklahoma Indian Territory. He had resided here 19 years.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Fresno and the Scottish Rite Bodies of Fresno.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs Nama Shelley; a son, Thomas Howard Shelley of Livermore; three daughters, Mrs Emory (Naomi) O'Banion of Dos Palos, Mrs Nelle Brewer of Portland, Ore, Mrs Grace Maggy of San Rafael; a brother, Truman Shelley of Sweetwater, Texas; three sisters, Mrs Ethele Barker of Enid, Okla, Mrs Pady (sic) Cierley of Bakersfield, Mrs Jewell Parks of Dos Palos; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
