Mrs. Mary Decker, 82, died early Tuesday morning, Feb. 13, at the home of her son, William Decker, of Garrett. She was a daughter of the late Noah and Caroline (Ohler) Burkholder and was born on May 15, 1862. Surviving are these children: William, at whose home she died; Mrs. Irvin Gnagey, Allen, Garrett R.D. 1; Webster, Rockwood; and Mrs. Harry Stevanus, Meyersdale R.D. 1. She also leaves 28 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Willis Decker, died in 1938. Funeral services were conducted under the direction of the Konhaus Funeral Home, Thursday afternoon, at 2:30, in the Center Lutheran Church, with Rev. John S. Hoenstine, pastor of Garrett Lutheran charge, officiating. Burial was made in the adjoining cemetery.
