EMMA STELLA LUSTER
Gunnison / Salina - Emma Stella Taylor Kelley Luster, of Salina and Gunnison, 93, died Dec. 25, 1989, in Mayfield.
She was born April 14, 1896, in Moab to Willard Lester and Julia Empey Taylor.
She married Danial Francis Kelley, June 13, 1916 in Vernal; marriage later solemnized in Manti LDS Temple. He died March 15, 1946. The she married James H. Luster, April 2, 1957, in the Manti Temple. He died July 6, 1965.
She was active in Relief Society, served as visiting teacher, active in genealogy.
Survivors; sons, daughter, Van Kelley, Gunnison; Mrs. Arthur (Lynn) Mink, Seattle, Wash.; Hal Kelley Riverton, Wyo.; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, Dec. 29, in the Gunnison Stake Center with Bishop Allen Dyreng officiating.
Van D. Kelley offered the family prayer; Margaret Goble played the prelude and postlude music and Bishop Miles Jensen offered the invocation.
Family reflections written by Lynn K. Mink were read by Kamile Livingston, speaker was Hal Kelley and remarks were given by Bishop Dyreng.
Music included two vocal solos by Boyd Goble and selection by Sherrie Myrup, Lana Larson, Marsha Anderson, Lareen Sorensen, and Diane Dyreng.
Clayton Crane offered the benediction.
Interment was in the Gunnison City Cemetery by Springer/Turner Mortuary, Salina where Loren Luster offered the dedicatory prayer.
Pallbearers were Blaine Kelley, Kreig Kelley, Karl Kelley, Brian Kelley, Daniel Kelley, and Boyd Livingston.
Honorary pallbearers were Arthur Mink, John Kelley, Michael Kelley, James Luster, John Bailey, Sean Kelly, and Glen Johnson.

Our kind and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Aunt and friend Emma Stella Taylor Kelley Luster died December 25, 1989 in Mayfield, Utah.
She was born April 14, 18996 in Moab, Utah.
She married Daniel Francis Kelley, June 13, 1916 in Vernal, Utah. He died March 15, 1946. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on March 22, 1957.
She then married James H. Luster, April 2, 1957 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died July 6, 1965.
Survivors include children, Van D. Kelley, Lyn K. Mink, and Hal Kelley, and Stepson, Loren Luster. She has 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Lorin Cecil Kelley and a stepdaughter, Wilma.
Funeral services were held Friday, December 29, 1989 in the Gunnison Stake Center. Interment was in the Gunnison City Cemetery, under the direction of Springer/Turner Mortuary, Salina, Utah.
