She was a charter member of the Milton Methodist Church, and a member of the Fox Island United Church of Christ and the Civil Defense Organization. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Blauvelt; and two sons, Vernon and William Blauvelt. She is survived by a daughter, Mavis Schroedel of Milton; 10 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-granchildren.
