Son of Jacob Bisbort and Maria Katharina Bisbort nee Gölter.
He married Catharina Kern/Caun on January 5, 1861 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A copy of the record is attached to his wife's memorial.
Lived in Philadelphia and served as Private in Civil War in "K" Company, 74th Infantry. He received pension for service, pension #792828.
