William's parents were James BOREN Sr. & Nancy ____. James & Nancy were married in 1786 SC.
William M. brought his family from AR to TX in 1833 to settle near his mother Nancy.
William M. died in Collin Co., TX and his body was transported by wagon to Montague county to be buried next to his wife, Julia Ann. The place where they were buried was named the BOREN Cemetery because they were the first ones buried there.

Estrayed by W. M. BOREN, before J. T. JENKINS, J.P. Precinct, No. 8, one brown bay horse mule, about 14 hands high, 6 years old, saddle and ear marks, no brands.
