Roena married second Joseph Franklin Griffith about 1855, probably in Missouri. They had 9 or 10 children, which are being added to the memorial of Joseph Franklin Griffith.
Rosena (Guess) Griffith is said to have been buried near Blackwell Crossing, on the Colorado River, between Whon and the Colorado River, probably in Coleman County. Melvina Coggin said Rosena died when Melvina was 11 or 12 years old. The 1880 census shows they lived in the east part of Coleman County. It is possible Rosena is buried at Chaffin Cemetery, as her daughter and Levi Cappis married about this time. They could have lived near Waldrip Crossing, rather than Blackwell Crossing. This could have been have Nancy Griffith and Levi Cappis met.
