Earlene Ummerteskee the daughter of John Sr. and Mary Ann (Reese) Ummerteskee was born October 29, 1969 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on March 12, 2011 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 41 years, 4 months and 12 days.
Earlene enjoyed helping others and loved life. She enjoyed her time spent with family and friends. Earlene touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Earlene was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Debra Ann Ummerteskee.
She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband Jesus Duran of the home; her children Brittany Ummerteskee of Tahlequah, Watt "Yoshi" Ummerteskee, Alonzo "Zo" Duran, Oscar Duran, and Adam Duran all of the home; brothers Perry Ummerteskee and wife Lela, Rodney Ummerteskee and Susie, Bobby Ummerteskee, Michael Ummerteskee and wife Charity, and John Ummerteskee Jr.; sisters Michelle Kirk and husband Rickie, Joann Sixkiller and friend Rick Caviness, and Patricia Castillo and husband Casimiro Fuentes all of Tahlequah; and grandchildren Victor Duran and Little Eric both of Tahlequah. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday March 16, 2011 at the Elm Tree Baptist Church with Bro. Jim Wilkerson officiating. Interment will follow at the Pumpkin Hollow Cemetery in Proctor, Oklahoma. Services were entrusted to the Hart Funeral Home in Tahlequah, OK.
