Okie Pearl Frazier, 95, of Newark, departed this life Friday, Aug. 26, 2005, following a long illness. She was born May 31, 1910, in Jackson County, a daughter of the late George and Anna Snyder and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a member of the Newark Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Raymond F. (Frank) Frazier of Rt. 2, West Union, and Ray C. Frazier of Newark; a daughter, Jane Cutlip of Massillon, Ohio; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, on Dec. 1, 1980; four brothers, George, John, Andy and Lou; and six sisters, Clara, Hattie, Ellen, Lenna, Icie and Catharine.
Services were held Monday at Matheny Pomroy Funeral Home with the Rev. Everett Snyder officiating. Burial will be in the Fought Cemetery.
