Clarence Raymond Frazier, 77, of Newark, died Monday evening, April 18, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born at Newark, a son of the late Benjamin F. and Lillian Dodd Frazier. He was a former member of the Newark Methodist Church and had retired from the American Viscose Corp. in 1968 after 37 years service. After retirement he was a farmer. Surviving are his wife, Pearl Snyder Frazier; two sons, Raymond F. of Circleville in Pendleton County, W.Va., and R.C. Frazier of Newark; a daughter, Anna Cutlip of Massillon, Ohio; a brother, Glen Frazier of Newark; a foster brother, Walter Smith, of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; and nine grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Matheny-Pomroy Funeral Home, Rev. Ezra Higgins officiating. Burial was in the Fought Cemetery.
