She departed this life on March the third at her home in Kelly, and was laid to rest in Old Bethel cemetery on March 4th. Services were conducted by Rev. Julian Brooks at Old Bethel church.
Jennie was just in the bloom of life, only 33 years old.
A gloom is cast over the entire community. All that loving hands and skilled physicians could do was done, but God saw fit to take her with himself.
It was with aching hearts we said "Thy will be done," as we looked for the last ime in this life on the lovely face of the dearest friend.
A dear one from our home has gone,
A voice we loved is stilled;
A place is vacant in our hearts,
That never can be filled.
She leaves father, husband and five sweet girls and a host of relative and friends to mourn her loss. Cheer up Dear Ernest, for not a shadow of a doubt lingers in our mind about her acceptance with her Savior, and we have ample evidence that justify us to believe that she is with the Lord.
Her life is ended and her work on earth is done, and eternity has dawned.
Written by one who loved her.
