Cash C. Bares, 83, 2001 Broadwater Ave., retired dairy farmer, died in a Billings hospital Thursday following a long illness.
He was born in Macon, Mo., Oct. 27, 1879, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Butler Barnes. He came to Billings in 1900 and had operated a farm here ever since.
He married Leta Oliver Nov. 20, 1916, in Billings.
He was a member of the First Christian Church.
Besides the widow, he is survived by a son, Miller Barnes of Casper, two daughters, Mrs. Leonard Wade of 2103 Broadwater Ave.; Mrs. Ruby Carr of Ballantine; a brother, Hilife Barnes of Macon, Mo., and a sister, Mrs. Ova Hughes of Fowler, Colo.
Private committal services will be held at Mountview Cemetery at 10 a.m. Saturday. Smith's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
