Funeral Services were held for John Caldwell
Last rites for John Henry Caldwell, Sr., were held Feb. 7, at 2 pm. at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Charles Jones officiating. Burial was in the Grenada Memorial Garden, Oliver in charge.
Mr. Caldwell died Feb. 5 at the Grenada County Hospital after a long illness. He was 88 years old.
A native of Attala County, he was a retired section foreman for the Illinois Central Railroad & a member of the Baptist Church.
Surving are his wife, Mrs. Sicily Burrell Caldwell, Grenada; 5 children, Everette Caldwell, Senatobia, John H. Caldwell, Jr., Clovis Caldwell, Mrs. Eva Brown & Miss Caldwell all of Grenada.
Also 17 grandchildren & 21 great grandchildren.
