Mildred H. Moore
Mildred Vivian Harris Moore, 64, of Rt. 9, Martinsville, died Monday, Aug. 5, at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County.
She was born Jan. 26, 1927, in Henry County to the late Martin Luther Harris and the late Lilla Palmer Harris.
She was self-employed as a bookkeeper for 40 years, retiring in 1986. Her husband was the late Eugene W. Moore.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Barron (Cindy) Frith of Martinsville; one son, Van A. Moore of Patrick Springs; two brothers, Joseph M. Harris of Roanoke and Lester M. Harris of Ararat; two sisters, Mary V. Harris and Elizabeth H. Shoemaker, both of Martinsville; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The Rev. Haywood Alcorn will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 :30 p.m. today.

A funeral for Mildred Harris Moore, 64, of Rt. 9, Martinsville, who died Monday, Aug. 5, was held Wednesday from the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home. The Rev. Haywood Alcorn officiated. Burial was in Roselawn Burial Park.
Pallbearers were Gary Frith, Barron Frith Jr., Talmadge Mitchell, Bill Epling, Leon Smith, Charles M. Harris and Tommy Harris.
