She was born April 29, 1871 in Louisville, Ohio, daughter of the late Michael and Susan (Ringer) Klingaman.
Lydia enjoyed visiting family & friends. She was a mother and a homemaker. She spent the last twenty-seven years in Akron Community making her last residence at 1111 Kohler Ave.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mable Grace (Connor) Gibler and grandson, Clifford Getz.
She is survived by her husband, James Walter Hopkins; daughter, Sadie Mae (Connor) & husband Seymour Getz of Akron; son-in-law, Isaac Andrew Gibler of Defiance; nine grandchildren, Richard, Lucille, Viola, Virgil Gibler and Irene, Opal, Seymore, Melvin, Richard Getz.
Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Akron, Ohio.
