COPELAND, MRS. EULA MAE - age 79, of Clinton, went home to be with Jesus, Tuesday, April 28, 1998, at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was a charter member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church. She had worked many years at Magnet Hosiery Mill as an inspector before raising a family of eight. She enjoyed her church and singing in various churches with her family over the years. She loved people and witnessed to everyone she came in contact with concerning her experience with Christ. She was preceded in death by mother, Ethel Kesterson, Kinsella, White; brothers, Robert & Howard Kinsella and Junior White. Survivors: husband of of 59 years, Dewey Ralph Copeland, Clinton; sons and daughters-in-law, Homer and Velma (Loveday) Copeland, Clinton, Robert and Cheryl (Walker) Copeland, Clinton, William and Shirlene(Miller) Copeland, Kingston, Johnny and Beverly (Hatmaker) Copeland, Clinton, Virgle and Teresa (Ridnour)Copeland, Heiskell, Rev. Jerry and Gail (Seiber) Copeland, Knoxville, Rev. Joseph and Sue (Miller) Copeland, Clinton; dau. Becky Fraker. sister and brother-in-law, Katie and Clifford Tindell, Clinton; sisters-in-law, Edna Beth White, Clinton, Joyce Kinsella, Knoxville, Ada Anderson, Oneida; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 1998, at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Pine Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Clifford Fraker officiating. Mrs. Copeland will lie in state one hour before services at Pine Ridge Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Pine Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Clinton. Grandsons will serve at pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Pine Ridge Baptist Church. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home of Lake City in charge of all arrangements.
