Miss Corn was the daughter of the late Claxton L. and Addie Corn Abernathy. She attended Faith School and the North Carolina Schools for the Handicapped and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Frances C. Barnette of Greenville, S.C. and Ann C. Petrea and husband, Clyde, of Faith and several nieces and nephews.
Services: Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Powles Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. James B. Gibson, interim pastor of Faith Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 1:45-2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home before the funeral service.
Memorials: May be made to the Faith Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 84, Faith, NC 28041.
