Eddie Lane Workman, 58, of South Fulton died at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City July 16, 2007.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Danny Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.

Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 this evening.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Chessor, Danal Doughit, Lonnie Jackson, Bobby Workman, Rob Cantrell and Scott Madrey.

The family requests that memorials be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

He was born March 24, 1949, in Weakley County, son of Ruby (Burcham) Workman of Dresden and the late Fred Workman. He was married to the former Marty Works Nov. 17, 1989. She survives.

He had been employed at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. for 31 years and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He attended Liberty Worship Center in Fulton and was a member of Troy's Western Sun Masonic Lodge and the American Legion.

Survivors also include three daughters and sons-in-law, Krista and Veeru Dadd of Mayfield, Ky., Sharon and Duke Montgomery of Hornbeak and Jamie and Randy Haddock of Newbern; five grandchildren, Kiran Dadd of Mayfield, Josh Montgomery and Chantelle Montgomery, both of Hornbeak, and Justin Haddock and Brayden Haddock, both of Newbern; and his sister, Joan Alderdice of Dresden.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Norma Sue Workman and Ovelia Mozzina; and two brothers, Omer Workman and Jess Workman.
