Mrs. Workman was born Sept. 25, 1913 in Weakley County, daughters of the late Robert and Bessie Brundige Burcham. She was the widow of Fred Green Workman, a housewife and member of Matheny Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Joan Alderdice of Dresden; one sister, Virginia Sudberry of Dresden; three grandchildren, Janet and Rob Cantrell, Greg and Karen Alderdice and Krista Dadd; and four great-grandchildren, Faith and Dylan Hesley, Greg Alderdice Jr., Keith and Denise Douglas, and Kiran Dadd.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Norma Sue Workman and Ophelia Mazzoni; and three sons, Eddie Lane Workman, Jess Workman and Oma Workman.
