Adolph "Junior" Cousino, 86 of Toledo, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Born September 8, 1924, in Temperance, MI, he was the son of Adolph & Lydia (Dazell) Cousino. He attended Central Catholic and Bedford High Schools. A US Navy veteran of WWII, he married Shirley Jacobs June 28, 1947 at St. Josephs, Erie, MI., Junior worked at Cousino's Body Shop in Toledo for 56 years, retiring 2001. He was member of St. Clement'Catholic Church for over 60 years, American Legion 587 & Conn - Weissenberger Post and a life member and Past Commander of the Erie VFW, #3925 in Erie, MI. Junior enjoyed spending time with his family, loved each & every one of them. He also enjoyed playing Euchre and fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Shirley, children, 4 sons Bradley (Patty), Brian (Marie), Bruce, Barry ( Dawn), 3 daughters, Bonnie (Don) Fels, Becky (Mike) Goldsmith, Beth (Chris) Slomkowski, sister Cecelia McClellan, 27 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by daughter Sheila Kay, brothers Alfred, Carlton, Lawrence (Bob), Merlin. Sisters Sr. Mary Alfred, Lillian King & Frances Morrin.

Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Friday, March 11, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where the Erie VFW, #3925 will hold services at Friday at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 1:00 pm at St. Clement Catholic Church in Toledo. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Erie, MI.
