Statesoro, May 2 - Mrs. A. Iverson Jones, 83, died Friday in a Savannah hospital, after a short illness. Mrs. Jones was a native of Bulloch County and had lived here until the past two years when she moved to Savannah to make her home with a son, Edgar S. Jones. She was a member of the Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include another son, Carson L. Jones, also of Savannah; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are incomplete pending the arrival of a grandson from Texas. The body will be in the chapel of Barnes Funeral Home here until the hour of the funeral.
