Henry Deschenes passed away on Monday, March 7, 2011 at The Nevins Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre in Methuen.

Henry is predeceased by his wife, Theresa of 62 years who sadly passed away January 16, 2011 and also two brothers Roland and Phillip. He is survived by three children, Linda and her husband, Kevin Braun, Clifford and his wife, Jayne Deschenes and Debra and her husband, Thomas Boucher. He is also survived by five grandchildren, (Thomas Boucher, Jr., Jonathan and Kimberly Deschenes and Kyle and Alena Braun) as well as three great grandchildren.

Henry is survived by brother, Alfred and sisters, Rita Kimball and Alice Dumais as well as several nieces and nephews.

Henry is a Veteran who served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a lifelong resident of Lawrence where he attended school, married and worked as a master carpenter until he retired.

He was a good man, father and friend and will be sadly missed and will remain in our hearts forever.

Friends were invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, March 11th, 2011 at the Arthur J. Scott Funeral Home, 298 S. Broadway, Lawrence. Funeral service followed at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Andover. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nevins Nursing Center, 12 Ingalls Court, Methuen, MA 01844.
