John M. Atkinson, 62, a son of Mrs. Margaret Atkinson and the late H. H. Atkinson, died yesterday in Rock Springs General Hospital, Rock Springs, Wyo., following a long illness. He was a resident of Lonaconing before moving to Wyoming 35 years ago.
Besides his mother he is survived by one brother Hugh. H. Atkinson, and four sisters, Mrs. John Brodbeck, Mrs. James Richmond, Mrs. P. R. Savage, and Mrs. Thomas M. Holmes.
The body will be taken to Salt Lake City for cremation and the ashes will be returned here for interment in Hillcrest Burial Park, Cumberland
