Jean was the daughter of Rev. John and Tylitha (Nott) Rucks. Growing up she played the guitar for church services. Since her father was an Evangelist she traveled in Arkansas and Oklahoma. She met and married her sweetheart, Louie Champlain in 1938. Together they had four loving children.

After her husband's untimely death in 1955, she married William R. Clester in 1960. Helping raise his two sons to adulthood.

She was an amazing cook and planned family get togethers often. Known for her hospitality and good organizational skills. PTA Mother and Avon representative in the 40's and 50's. Jean was 4'10" tall, had beautiful thick auburn hair and was full of energy.

She went in for surgery and afterwards while recuperating, she had a heart attack. Jean passed away in the hospital with her daughter standing by her side. Age 66
