Mrs. Acton is Taken by Death
Resident of County Dies of Heart Disease - Funeral Wednesday.

Mrs. Marian B. Acton, 57, widow of John R. Acton, died last night at her home near Hope following a long illness due to heart disease and dropsy. She had been ailing for four years but her condition did not become serious until four weeks ago. Since last Thursday she had been unconscious.

The body is at the Hege and Flanigan funeral home where services will be held tomorrow afternoon conducted by the Rev. P.G. Nau of the Clifty Lutheran church. Burial will be made in the Section cemetery southeast of the city.

Mrs. Acton was born in Kentucky and lived there until she was married and soon afterwards she and Mr. Acton came to this county. She had many friends here and was a well liked woman. Early in life she affiliated with the Baptist church in Kentucky.

Surviving are a son, John Marshall Acton, near Hope, with whom she made her home; eight grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Wil Lamaster, Mrs. Otelia Eddy and Mrs. Rumina Woods, all of Kentucky.
