Well Known Retired Farmer Dies at Home in East Columbus
Henry Arnholt, Sr., 77, died Friday night at 10:30 o'clock at his home on Hege avenue in East Columbus, following a long illness.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Evangelical Lutheran church, conducted by the Rev. August E. Brauer. Burial will be made in the Clifty cemetery.
Mr. Arnholt was born in Germany, but came to this county when 12 years old and spent most of his early life in the Clifty community where he lived on one farm for 41 years. Fourteen years ago he retired and moved to East Columbus. He was a member of the Lutheran church and a highly esteemed man.
Surviving are two sons, August and Henry , Jr., of Clifty; 15 grandchildren, and one brother, Herman Arnholt, of East Columbus.
