Samuel was a native of Virginia and Tennessee,he lived in Kentucky for some time where he engaged in general agricultural. On coming westward to Missouri he took up abode in Andrew County. He bought a farm in Page County,Iowa near the Missouri line and carried on the work of tilling the soil on two hundred acres. He was diligent, energetic and persistent in his business affairs. He was a God fearing man and raised 20 outstanding children. Many are buried in the surrounding area.

I have yet to find the burial spots of Ira Silas,John W. and Samuel. But in all I think that finding 17 of the 20 is a great achievement.
