Mrs. Cudd was the daughter of Charles Asbury Stevens [1872-1947] and Amanda Chitwood Stevens [1874-1957.

Doris was born in the Jones/Arcadia area of Oklahoma County.

Siblings- Ernest Ray Stevens, Tressa Stevens Baker, Daisy Velma Stevens Canada and my Grace Leila Stevens Arnn.

Mrs. Cudd graduated from Edmond High School and Central State College and moved to Hughes, OK, in the 1930s to teach school and later taught in Lindsay, Garvin Co., OK.

She married Leo Cudd and they had one child, a daughter born in 1938, Geneva Louise Cudd Perry.

Doris began teaching school in Lindsay in the early 40s and continued her education at the University of Oklahoma where she earned a master degree. She retired from Lindsay schools in 1976 and continued to work extensively in the Lindsey First Christian Church.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, in 1977, her daughter, in 1997, and her son-in-law, in 2006, she is survived by 3 grandsons, David, Mark and Brad Perry; and 9 great-grandchildren, Britton, Madison, Lauren, Zachery, Patrick, Kirk, Ian, Hunter, and Tanner.

Services were held at the First Christian Church in Lindsay, (Boydston Funeral Home).
