Letha Carpenter Frazier passed away January 5, 2008, at Deaconess Hospital. She was born July 4, 1912 in Lexington, Oklahoma to George E. and Emma Carpenter. Letha has been living with her daughter, Annette Frazier Crutchfield, for the past two years. She is also survived by her son, William C. Frazier, Jr.; grandsons, Brian Crutchfield and his wife, Susan, of Azle, Texas; Randy Crutchfield and his wife, Julie, of Arlington, Texas; granddaughter Julie of Arlington, Texas; granddaughter Crystal Frazier and Crystal's mother, Juanita Burger (who Letha called her second daughter) both of Macon, Georgia; great-grandchldren Nathan Crutchfield of Azle, Texas; Caroline and Jackson Crutchfield of Arlington, Texas. Also nephews Dr. James Carpenter of Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kansas; Joseph Carpenter of West Islip, New York. She is also survived by many more nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews, and many dear friends and colleagues. Letha was preceded in death by her parents, sister Geneva Wilhite; brother Haskell E. Carpenter; George W. Carpenter; and Doyce Carpenter.

Letha retired from American Mortgage and Investment Company in 1977 as an officer of the company. Letha has been a long time member and volunteer at Village United Methodist Church where she also drove and delivered mobile meals with her dear friend, June Lee, until the age of 93. She was also a long time volunteer at the offices of Circle of Care. Letha was a member of American Business Women's Association, Pic Wick Book Review, numerous bridge clubs, and Eastern Star. She will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services will be held at Village United Methodist Church with burial following at Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Oklahoma.
