Lavina Jane Ainsworth was born in Saline county, Missouri, to Lovick Rochel Ainsworth and Martha Jane Ainsworth. On 21 June 1899 she married James F. Moore in Kansas City, Missouri. They had one daughter, Corinne Barbara Moore. On 24 January 1906, in Kansas City, she married Drury W. Maunder. They lived in Kansas City until he died in 1927. By 1930, Lavina had married Thomas Bell Parker and they lived for awhile in Beaumont, California. They returned to Kansas City for their remaining years.

Lavina's home was a gathering place for family during her years in Kansas City and she cared for her aging father, Lovick, in his declining years.
