Deceased Name: Chester I. Ridge
Chester I. Ridge, 85, of the Ecumenical Communities Retirement Home, Paxtang, formerly of Camp Hill, died Friday in Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
He had been a locomotive engineer for the former Pennsylvania Railroad; and was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Lemoyne, and the West Shore Senior Citizens Center, New Cumberland.
Surviving are his wife, Marie S. Ridge; a daughter, Wilma R. Prendergast of Harrisburg; two sisters, Grace Wheeler of Florida and Helen Garretson of Biglerville; and two granddaughters.
Services will be held at 10: 30 a.m. Tuesday in Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Viewing will be from 9: 30 to 10: 30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

Information from Find A Grave contributor Ross Morton: Chester Isaiah Ridge was born the date that you show in Elizabeth Union Co NJ-the same as his two sisters. His parents lived at 628 Henry Street in Elizabeth in 1910 and moved back to Philadelphia around 1915-1919. As you show in his obituary, he died at Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, Dauphin, Pennsylvania rather than Camp Hill Cumberland Pa which was his residence
