Marcella Imogene Scott
Marcella Imogene Scott, 80, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001, at her residence in Martinsville. She had lived in Morgan County since 1950.
She was born Sept. 24, 1921, in Knox County. Her parents were Eugene and Helen C. (Yerkes) Dant. She married Cecil G. Scott on Oct. 11, 1939. He preceded her in death July 7, 1992. Survivors include four sons, Larry Scott of Brownsburg, Mark Scott and Jerry Scott, both of Martinsville, and Steve Scott of Greenwood; a daughter, Beverly Scott Goodson of Mooresville; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was a 1939 graduate of Tech High School.
She was a homemaker and an Avon saleswoman.
She attended Eastview Christian Church in Martinsville. She enjoyed traveling.
The Rev. Rick Miller will conduct a service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Neal & Summers Mortuary in Martinsville. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be at New South Park Cemetery in Martinsville.
